I wanted to cover my grays. I added this to my wash day routine. I put on gloves, and a trash bag on my shoulders, a towel in my lap and a mirror. I did section by section using only 2-3 finger dips. I love it!! I have gotten compliments on how it's just a nice pop of color!!

I did expect the color to be more brilliant based on the videos presented on Instagram. These girls have darker hair than me and the color seemed brighter on the screen. It was an overall subtle change to my dark hair. Not sure if the porosity relates to how the color takes. The other piece is the smell was too strong for me. Not unpleasant, just overpowering. Was a lot of time for the whole process and not a lot of impact. I like that it is washout, but I can’t go for more than 4 days without wetting my hair, so short lived effect. I’d like to try the silver, as I have some silver in my hair already. But now I’m not sure if it’s worth it.

I wasn't as crazy about this color as I thought I'd be & I wish I'd bought the 2oz instead of the 4oz but oh well I'll make it work. It's more pink than I thought it'd be but its still very pretty. Pink just isnt my thing. I'll probably mix it with purple rain in hopes of darkening it. This was my first time using gemini naturals & it was a bit of learning curve. I used way too much & it came out flaky. But I want to emphasize that was my fault & not the product's. I tried it again multiple times using less & it came out perfectly. I've used this with wetline gel, uncle funkys curl magic gel, aunt jackies ice curls gel, & camille rose twist cream all with great results. I have 4B/4A, low porosity, medium density hair. It only takes 4 pumps to do my whole head so I have a ton of color gel left & I just bought more colors. While I don't love this specific color, this product has gone above & beyond my expectations.

When first using the product I liked how vibrant the color is. After a couple of hours I noticed a lot of flacking, so I thought if I let it dry for a couple of hours I would be fine but my hair kept flacking and bled out on my hands and clothes. If this is a 24 hr thing anyone can use it but it will flack a lot as well as bleed out onto you clothes and hands

This product was fantastic! My only issue is that fading started day 2, but it is a gel and that should be expected. There was a little product build up as well but I think it is worth the experience!

Love the color and it does not make my hair hard like other color waxes do.

I love all of the colored hair gels I have from Gemini Naturals: they're easy to apply, are no fuss when used with other hair products, versatile and easy to wash out. I do find that they trasfer a bit (it's hard to keep my hands out of my hair), but not much. And I've never had them stain clothing. This mulberry color is gorgeous! The perfect, not too loud pinkish purple. It wasn't the first color I got, but it was the first one I covered my whole head with. It was great, and I'll definitely repurchase.

Love this colour! Absolutely love this colour! I have tried 7 colours so far, and this colour is in my top 4. It is a purpleish maroon colour on my black hair. Pairs well with Jordan and Purple Rain for a multi coloured look. Similar to my other reviews, expect some transfer. However, unlike other temporary hair colour brands, I can actually touch my hair gently, sleep, move around, go to the gym, or even hug other people, without worrying about an unbearable amount of transfer everywhere.

Love, can't wait to try more colors Summary - I love this gel, have received several compliments from women & men. Gel barely has a scent, worked with my styling products. Washes off hands easily with soap & water. This color looked purple pink on my off black hair. My hair is off black mostly 4c, super coily and tight after styling (twa when dry). I always wear a wash&go using a leave in and a gel with a cast. I prefer it because my style will last for at least a week & each curl is defined. I sleep with a bonnet. Mist my hair every morning (water & aloe vera juice) and fluff with my fingernails. This color gel was so easy to use and you can decide how much color coverage you want by using more or less of the gel. I prefer to do my whole wash&go then section my damp hair and apply the color gel. Did my normal daily routine sleeping with a bonnet but I used less mist on my hair & fluffed with an afro pik to keep from disturbing the color. The color lasted all week, no fading, transfer or flaking. I worked out and no color dripped when I was sweating (avoided roots when applying). The nape of my neck gets a little sweaty when I sleep, a little bit of color got on the inside of my bonnet. Also tried applying color to mostly dry wash&go. Made my hair frizzy but I was able to rewet & apply my regular gel to fix the frizz. I made the color really bright once, too much for me. I misted my hair more and fluffed with my nails. The color rubbed off some on my fingers and toned down in a couple days.

LOVE the easy application Easy to apply, it does not transfer on clothes and rinses out easily!! You can use a little for a hint of color or for a complete color change. Will purchase again and again. I need more colors!!!! My only bad thing to say is that the trio for $25 is currently out of stock. ;(

Girrrrl So this color is absolute LIFE!! The picture doesn't do the complexity of the color justice. In some lighting, the color looks almost burgundy while it looks deep purple in others. Either way it goes, it was super flattering and vibrant yet subtle enough for work. Plus it completely covered my jet black hair lol so frickin gorgeous!
