Truth be told, I'm not really into Halloween BUT I do enjoy the opportunity to play dress up for the night and steal a few treats from the kids' candy bags! I haven't quite figured out what my costume will be this year so here are a few looks I've created over the years with a little (or a lot of) makeup and our Get Hued vegan temporary hair color gel.
Cruella De Vil

Lion

Cheshire Cat (from Alice in Wonderland)

Half Skull/Half Flower Girl
Another one that was super fun and didn't involve too many elements. I found some jewels and a flower headband at Target in the Halloween section and used white and black face paint. For my curls, I did mix of Purple Rain, Ocean, and Mulberry temporary hair color gels and added Silver Storm over top to make the colors appear more pastel.
Little Red Riding Hood
For Little Red Riding Hood, I found a similar slash wound prosthetic at Party City. If you're a brown girl like me, make sure you BLEND the heck out of this for a more realistic look. I then added Cranberry temporary hair color gel, a red cape with hood, and a red lipstick. To make a couples costume, my hubby dressed as the Big Bad Wolf.
Thanks for taking a trip down memory lane with me and let me know if you try any of these Halloween looks!
Colorfully,
Lianne
