Hi Gemini Naturals family! My name is Jennifer and I am the Founder of Lifestyle brand and community Everything Worthy. Everything Worthy is a positive community that focuses on topics like self care, mental health, wellness and parenting. What started as a beauty and apparel line has now evolved to include a Podcast that invites open and honest conversations for real people. My mission is to build an encouraging community where people can feel “heard” and validated.
Although it’s a beautiful, inspiring community, the creation of my brand was actually motivated by real life experiences that left me feeling overlooked, undervalued and “not good enough”. I realized that I fell into this place where I was going after opportunities that weren’t for me and I was trying to make moves that didn’t align with who I was or who I wanted to become. I felt discouraged and I left lost, UNTIL I really started spending more time with myself. I would write myself love notes and ask myself, “What have you done for YOU lately?” I started to do things that made me happy which in turn made me a better mother, a better wife and a better ME. I started sharing words of encouragement with others and the engagement that I received was overwhelming.
I never imagined that I would have a business that is aligned with self care and encouraging others but I realized that there were so many communities that were either underrepresented or under appreciated and I want to support them in the best way that I can.
These experiences continue to inspire me to show up for myself in a genuine, authentic way. To me, living a colorful life means finding something that sparks something inside of you, and finding ways to keep that fire going. When you are living your best life, it means that you are doing something that you love, something that inspires you, and something that challenges you.
When I was in college I ran across a quote that read, “Do a little living before you die." That really stuck with me and it’s something that I think about everyday. I use it to remind myself that no matter how complicated things may be, we should really be out here... living. I travel and have adventures with my family (I share more about this on my blog, Jen Finds Gems), I laugh more, and I experience new things and places. I really challenge myself to find ways to create JOY and feed my purpose of helping people.
I want to encourage you to do what makes YOU happy. Pour into yourself daily and remember to celebrate your growth. Life isn’t perfect but it’s for the living and I hope that you take the time to do just that!
